Our cancellation policy has been made exceptionally flexible to provide you with complete confidence when you book your Andorra adventure.

You are entitled to a full refund if you must cancel your booking due to any of the following COVID-19 related circumstances:

  1. Government Travel Restrictions: If you are unable to depart from your country or enter Andorra due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions imposed by government authorities.
  2. Ski Resort Closure: Should the ski resort in Andorra be forced to close due to COVID-19.
  3. Contracting COVID-19 Before Travel: If you contract COVID-19 more than 14 days prior to your scheduled trip and are unable to travel (official medical certificate required as proof).

  • Changes During Your Stay: Please note that no refund will be issued if government travel advice changes while you are already in Andorra.

Resort or Hotel Closures:

  • Closure Before Travel: If the Andorra resort or your hotel is forced to close before your travel dates, we guarantee a full refund.
  • Closure During Your Stay: If the resort closes partway through your holiday, Andorra Travel Service will provide a proportional refund for the days affected.

Accommodation Bookings:

No Quibble Full Refund Policy

Book your Andorra holiday well in advance and benefit from even greater flexibility! When you book more than 8 weeks before your travel date and pay just a 5% deposit, our No Quibble Full Refund policy comes into effect.

This policy allows you to cancel your booking at any time, for any reason, before your full balance payment is due (8 weeks prior to travel). You will receive a complete refund of all monies paid. Furthermore, you can make changes to your booking, such as altering travel dates, hotels, transfers, or ski extras, without any amendment fees (subject only to any price difference at the time of making changes).

For bookings made less than 8 weeks before your travel date, full payment is required at the time of booking. However, our flexible conditions still apply, ensuring your peace of mind.

Accommodation Booking Cancellations Less Than 8 Weeks Before Travel

Need to cancel your accommodation booking closer to your travel date? Andorra Travel Service offers flexible options:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation and a full refund.
  • 29-15 days before arrival: A cancellation charge of 75% of the accommodation cost applies.
  • 14-7 days before arrival: A cancellation charge of 50% of the accommodation cost applies.
  • 7-0 days before arrival: 100% of the accommodation cost will be charged (non-refundable).

Positive COVID-19 Test Before Travel (Accommodation):

If you, or a member of your party, receive an official positive COVID-19 test result 14 days or more before your travel date, we will issue a full refund for your accommodation upon validation of the test result. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a full accommodation refund if a positive test result is received less than 14 days before travel, or if you are self-isolating for any other reason. In these instances, we strongly recommend ensuring you have comprehensive travel insurance that covers such situations.

Group Bookings:

Discounts:

Andorra Travel Service often offers discounts for combined bookings of accommodation and ski extras. Please be aware that cancelling part of your holiday package may result in price adjustments for the remaining elements.

Cancellation Procedure:

To cancel your booking, you must notify Andorra Travel Service in writing. Cancellations must be received and acknowledged by us before 5 pm (Andorra Time) to accurately calculate any applicable cancellation fees.

Terms and Conditions of Booking Your Holiday

Holiday Booking Process:

We encourage you to discuss your resort, accommodation, and transport preferences with our travel experts before you book. This ensures that your chosen holiday is perfectly suited to your needs and those of your travel companions.

Medical Conditions and Disabilities:

If you or any member of your party has any medical condition or disability that may impact your holiday arrangements, please inform us before confirming your booking. This allows us to advise you on the suitability of your chosen holiday. In all cases, you must provide us with full written details at the time of booking. If we believe we cannot adequately accommodate the specific needs of the person concerned, we reserve the right to decline the booking.

Group Bookings and Lead Name Responsibility:

If you are booking on behalf of a group, you must confirm that you have the consent of all group members before making the booking. It is also your responsibility to ensure that all members have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

The person who makes the booking (online, by phone, or booking form) is designated as the “lead name.” The lead name must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking and is responsible for:

  • Payment of the total booking price, including any subsequent cancellation or amendment charges.
  • Confirming that all party members agree to these terms and conditions.
  • Providing accurate and complete booking information to all group members, including any updates or changes.
  • Ensuring any additional group members added later also agree to these terms and conditions and receive all relevant booking information.

Payment Schedule and Late Payment Fees:

Once your deposit is paid, you are liable for the remaining balance according to the payment schedule. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the forfeiture of your holiday. If you wish to cancel due to non-payment of the balance, you must notify Andorra Travel Service in writing. Cancellation charges will apply as per our cancellation policy.

Please note that your booking and contract for services are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. If you fail to pay the required amount by the balance due date and have not notified us of cancellation, a late payment fee of £50 per person will be automatically applied.

Check Your Booking Documents:

Carefully review all documentation received from Andorra Travel Service and contact us immediately if you find any errors or discrepancies.

Special Requests:

While we will make every effort to pass on reasonable special requests to our suppliers, we cannot guarantee that these requests will be fulfilled unless we have specifically confirmed them in writing. Confirmation that a special request has been noted or passed on is not a guarantee of fulfillment. All special requests are subject to availability.

Accommodation Damage Deposits:

Some accommodations may require a damage deposit upon arrival. This deposit is payable upon check-in and will be returned upon check-out, provided there is no damage to the property. The application and amount of damage deposits are at the discretion of the accommodation provider. Any queries regarding damage deposit charges should be addressed to the accommodation provider directly; however, Andorra Travel Service will assist you in contacting them and mediating where possible.

Changes to Accommodation:

In the unlikely event that we cannot provide your chosen accommodation, Andorra Travel Service will endeavor to find you a replacement of equal or equivalent standard. Refunds will only be issued if you are moved to accommodation of a lower standard.

City Tax:

Some accommodations may levy a local city tax, payable upon arrival. City tax inclusion in the holiday price varies by accommodation; therefore, you may be required to pay this tax locally.

Airline Name Change Fees:

Please be aware that airline name change fees are beyond our control and are determined by the individual airlines. Refer to the terms and conditions of the specific airline operating your flight, which are typically available on their websites:

Flight Extras:

Andorra Travel Service is not responsible for any extra charges related to flight bookings, such as baggage fees or online check-in charges. It is your responsibility to check in online, ensure you have adequate baggage allowance, and comply with all other airline regulations.

Price Changes:

Holiday prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in transportation costs (including fuel), taxes, fees (such as landing taxes), and exchange rates. However, prices will not change within 30 days of your departure date. Should costs decrease, any due refund will be passed on to you. If costs increase, Andorra Travel Service will absorb increases up to 5% of your holiday price. You will only be responsible for increases exceeding 5%.

Cancellation Policy: Details and Charges

Cancellation By You:

If you cancel your holiday or withdraw from any planned activities, Andorra Travel Service is entitled to retain a portion of your deposit or payment to cover reasonable costs and losses incurred due to your withdrawal. If the balance payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit, along with applicable charges as per the schedule below.

Flights and Flight Extras: Please note that flights and flight extras are non-refundable from the point of purchase. If you cancel a flight-inclusive package, you will be liable for the full cost of the flight and any flight extras, such as baggage.

Non-Refundable Accommodation Rates:

Certain accommodations on specific dates may be offered at non-refundable rates. These bookings require full payment at the time of booking, and no refunds are offered for cancellations, no-shows, or early departures. Changes or amendments are treated as cancellations, with no refund provided.

Cancellation By Us:

Andorra Travel Service reserves the right to cancel your holiday in any circumstances. If we are unable to provide your booked holiday, you will be offered the choice of:

  • A full refund of all monies paid.
  • Acceptance of alternative travel arrangements of a closely similar standard and price (if available).
  • A choice of specified travel arrangements of a lower standard, along with a refund of the price difference.

Non-Refundable Accommodation Rate Bookings (Cancellation by Us):

Even for non-refundable accommodation rate bookings, the same cancellation options apply if Andorra Travel Service cancels your holiday.

Compensation Policy

You may be entitled to compensation from Andorra Travel Service for non-performance of our contract (e.g., cancellation or significant changes to your booking), except in the following circumstances:

  • Minimum Numbers Not Met: If the package is cancelled because the minimum number of participants was not reached, and you are informed of the cancellation within the period specified in the package description.
  • Force Majeure: If the package is cancelled due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which were unavoidable even with all due care.
  • External Company Cancellation: If an element of the package is cancelled by an external company, such as festivals or events. In such cases, we will refund the cost of the cancelled ticket or activity at the price we purchased it for, if suitable alternatives cannot be found. We are not liable for the cancellation of external events that form part of your package, and refunds in this situation will be limited to the cancelled event portion.

Transfer Cancellation:

If your pre-booked transfer is cancelled by the operator and we cannot find a suitable replacement, you will be refunded for the transfer element, up to a maximum of £38.00 each way. In case of missed connecting transfers due to flight delays or other reasons, Andorra Travel Service will place you on the next available transfer service of the same type. We are not responsible for any missed services, such as skiing time, due to such delays.

Events Beyond Reasonable Control (Force Majeure)

If unforeseen events beyond reasonable control significantly impede, endanger, or interfere with the trip, either party may terminate the contract. In cases where Andorra Travel Service is affected, we will provide prompt assistance to customers and take necessary measures to facilitate their return to their starting point. Any additional costs in this scenario will be covered by Andorra Travel Service. If customers are affected, Andorra Travel Service is not obligated to refund for unperformed services, and customers are responsible for additional costs associated with returning to their starting point.

Our Liability to You

Andorra Travel Service promises that your holiday arrangements will be made, performed, or provided with reasonable skill and care. We accept responsibility for death, personal injury, or deficiencies in contracted arrangements resulting from a failure by us, our employees, agents, or suppliers to exercise reasonable skill and care. We are also responsible for the actions or omissions of our employees, agents, and suppliers acting within their employment or under our direction. The standard of care provided by our suppliers will be assessed based on local standards in the country where the services are provided, not UK standards.

It is your responsibility to demonstrate a lack of reasonable skill and care if you wish to make a claim against us. We are not liable for injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, or claims arising from:

  1. Your actions or omissions, or those of your party members.
  2. Actions or omissions of unconnected third parties that were unforeseeable or unavoidable.
  3. Unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure).
  4. Events that we or our suppliers could not foresee or prevent even with due care.

Limitations of Liability:

The maximum amount we will pay for claims related to loss or damage to luggage or personal possessions is £50 per person, unless a lower limitation applies under this section. For all other claims not involving death or personal injury, our maximum liability is three times the price paid (excluding insurance and amendment charges) by the affected person(s), only payable in cases where the entire holiday experience has been negatively impacted.

Assistance in Case of Misadventure:

If you suffer illness, personal injury, or death due to misadventure during an activity not part of your contracted holiday arrangements, we will, at our discretion, offer reasonable assistance, such as general assistance and contributing to initial legal costs (up to £1,000 per booking) if you take legal action against a responsible third party (subject to our prior agreement and your request within 28 days of the incident). We will not assist with legal costs if you have legal expense cover under insurance policies. You will be required to reimburse us for any costs we have paid if you successfully claim against a third party.

International Conventions and Regulations:

Except as expressly stated, any successful claim or part of a claim related to travel arrangements (including transport and accommodation) is subject to limitations. The maximum compensation will be limited to the maximum payable under applicable International Conventions or Regulations governing the specific travel arrangements.

Excursions and Activities:

Information about excursions and activities provided by Andorra Travel Service is for informational purposes only. Unless purchased as part of your package holiday, we have no involvement in these activities, which are operated by independent local operators or third parties. We accept no liability for such excursions or activities, even if we recommend operators or assist with bookings. Our liability does not extend to the behavior of others in your accommodation or flight, or for withdrawn facilities/services due to their actions.

Liability Exclusions:

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Your Responsibilities and Liability

Resort Costs and Damage Deposits:

Be aware of potential additional resort costs beyond the quoted holiday price. Hotels may require damage deposits or card details upon check-in to cover potential damages. These deposits are typically refunded if no damage occurs.

Your Conduct and Impact on Others:

We want all our customers to enjoy their holiday. However, you are responsible for your actions and their impact on others. If we or another authority believe your actions:

  • Distress, upset, annoy, or disturb other customers, suppliers, or our staff.
  • Put them at risk or danger.
  • Damage property.
  • Indicate you are unfit to travel.

We may prevent you from continuing your activity, end your holiday, and terminate your contract. You and your party will be prevented from using booked accommodation, transport, and other travel arrangements without refund, compensation, or liability for any costs incurred by you.

Personal Safety and Property Condition:

You are responsible for your own safety and the condition of the property you occupy. We are not liable for accidents in or around swimming pools due to irresponsible behavior or accidents on properties caused by broken items or hazards you create.

Liability for Damage and Breakages:

You and your party are jointly and individually liable for any damage or loss caused during your trip due to your actions or those of your party members, including damage to accommodation, furniture, and vehicles. You are responsible for reporting breakages or damage immediately and paying the accommodation owner or manager directly for any loss or damage.

Timekeeping:

You are responsible for your timekeeping. If you miss departures for hotels, excursions, or transfers, you forfeit your right to those services.

Aircraft Diversion Costs:

If your behavior or that of your party causes an aircraft to be diverted, you and your party will be jointly and individually liable for all resulting costs.

Alcohol Consumption and Illegal Drugs:

We provide tickets to events but do not supply alcohol. You must obey all local laws regarding alcohol consumption, including age restrictions. While responsible alcohol consumption is accepted, we are not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from impaired judgment due to alcohol. You must be in a fit state to enter bars and clubs; entry refusal due to intoxication is not our responsibility. Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited, and anyone found using or possessing illegal substances will be removed from the trip.

Smoking and Fire Hazards:

Smoking is prohibited in hotel bedrooms, caravans, apartments, or in any manner that could create a fire hazard.

Force Majeure

Except where explicitly stated in these booking conditions, we regret that we cannot accept liability or pay compensation when our contractual obligations are affected by Force Majeure. “Force Majeure” includes events unforeseeable and unavoidable even with all due care, such as war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather, fire, and similar events beyond our control.

Data Protection

By booking with Andorra Travel Service, you consent to us using and disclosing your information for: processing your booking (including sharing with third-party suppliers and potentially transferring data to countries with different privacy laws); market research and analysis; improving customer service; fraud prevention; legal compliance; and, with your consent, marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing communications via our website, phone, or written request to our UK address. Telephone calls may be recorded for training, quality, and crime prevention. If you book online or consent to email communication, we will use your provided email address for travel documentation and assume you understand the risks of this communication method. During your holiday, you may be filmed for promotional purposes, and by agreeing to these terms, you consent to being photographed or recorded.

Complaints Procedure

We aim to provide you with a fantastic holiday experience. If problems arise, please immediately notify the relevant service provider (hotel, event manager, etc.). If they cannot assist, contact our reps or resort managers. If you remain unsatisfied upon your return, write to Andorra Travel Service within 28 days of your return, including your holiday reference number and contact details. Ensure you provided us with the opportunity to resolve issues locally, as failure to do so may limit our ability to address your complaint effectively post-holiday.
