  • US, UK, and Canadian Passport Holders: Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay.
  • All Other Nationalities: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date.

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) and Visa Requirements

Good news for many travelers! Visa-exempt visitors, including those from the US, Canada, UK, and EU countries, do not require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA/eVisa) to travel to the Turks and Caicos. However, travelers requiring a visa will need to obtain a paper visa (as before) to visit the islands.

The United Kingdom requires an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) in order to visit the UK. This immigration policies only affects the United Kingdom, and does not apply to the Turks and Caicos, which maintains its own immigration policies.

COVID-19 Travel Restrictions Update

All COVID-19 related travel restrictions have been removed for travel to the Turks and Caicos. There are no longer any requirements for vaccinations, testing, or insurance.

Arrival Forms

Upon arrival, each person needs to complete an immigration form, which will be presented to an immigration officer.

Travelers are allowed to bring in $1,000 worth of goods duty-free (goods that will remain in the islands). If a resident or tourist exceeds the duty-free allowance, the head of each family will also be required to complete a customs form. Friends traveling together with different surnames will each need to complete their own customs declaration form if they exceed the duty-free allowance.
