CEFCO Convenience Stores marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of their newest and largest travel center on Friday, May 4th, 2018, at 16242 US Hwy 271, Tyler TX 75708. This state-of-the-art facility represents CEFCO’s first store opening of the year and introduces a prototype designed to cater comprehensively to the needs of truckers, travelers, and the local Tyler community. The new Cefco Travel Center is strategically located at the intersection of IH-20 and Hwy 271, making it an easily accessible and convenient stop for those on the road.

This expansive cefco travel center spans 13,800 sq ft on over 25 acres, offering an array of amenities that go beyond the typical convenience store. It distinguishes itself with a strong emphasis on providing fresh and diverse food options. Guests can quickly grab a bite from the “Fresh Eats” menu, featuring a selection of grab-n-go items, or indulge in a customizable treat at the “Fresh Yo” self-service frozen yogurt station. For those seeking a more substantial meal, the cefco travel center is home to both Carl’s Jr. and Subway restaurants. Notably, this location marks the first Carl’s Jr. quick-service restaurant within the CEFCO network, adding another layer of dining variety for visitors.

Understanding the specific needs of long-haul drivers, this cefco travel center incorporates extensive trucker amenities. Professional drivers can take advantage of a dedicated truckers lounge to relax and unwind. Shower and laundry facilities are available to help drivers refresh during their journeys. For operational needs, the center provides CAT Scales and seven truck fueling lanes, ensuring efficient refueling. Recognizing the importance of rest stops for long journeys, the cefco travel center boasts 96 parking spaces specifically for semi-trucks.

The location offers 72 parking spaces for cars, along with four dedicated RV/Bus spaces and an RV dump for those traveling in recreational vehicles. Sixteen auto fueling positions are available for quick and easy refueling for cars and smaller vehicles.
