Travel Town is undeniably a fun and engaging game, even for adults who sometimes resist “adulting”! The satisfaction of matching items, fulfilling orders, and upgrading buildings is genuinely enjoyable. However, lately, an issue has been disrupting the flow and enjoyment: the ad functionality for popping bubbles.
Occasionally, the game offers the option to watch an advertisement to get a needed match piece. For example, when trying to obtain the second half of a sewing station to create Stitched Panels for an order, the ad button appears. Unfortunately, this button sometimes becomes unresponsive – a complete dud! Moving the bubble in frustration only makes it disappear, leaving only the option to spend gems to pop it. This is particularly frustrating, especially for players who prefer not to spend real money on in-app purchases. While willing to support the developers by watching ads, the broken functionality makes this impossible.
To add to the frustration, the bottom buttons of the app also became unresponsive at the same time. A hard restart of the app was necessary to restore this basic functionality. While this fixed the button issue, the ad button remained a problem. At level 49, nearing 50, progressing in Travel Town already presents a significant challenge. Gathering resources to upgrade buildings and earn XP to level up is a demanding task. The ability to watch an ad to gain crucial items, like that missing sewing station piece, could make a real difference in progression and earning enough in-game currency and XP for the next upgrade. Fixing this ad glitch would greatly improve the player experience and ensure continued enjoyment of this otherwise captivating Travel Town Game.
